Why It Matters
More than just the outdoor unit
A heat pump runs differently to a gas or oil boiler — lower flow temperatures and longer run times mean the whole system has to be set up properly to work well, not just switched on. A lot of "the heat pump isn't working" call-outs turn out to be a controls setting, a radiator that needs balancing, or the outdoor unit's airflow being restricted, rather than a fault with the unit itself.
